Srinagar, Aug 12, : Al-Umar Mujahideen Chief Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar has called for a complete shutdown on August 15 August and has asked people to observe this day as “black day.”
Zargar said that India has snatched freedom from Kashmiris, “So the people should observe complete shutdown on 15 August and celebrate the day as black day.” He asked people to shut all business establishments on the day.
In a telephonic statement to CNS, Zargar said that forces in Kashmir have killed, blinded thousands including kids and women. “So the people should observe complete shutdown on Indian Independence day on 15 August and celebrate the day as black day.”
He asked people to shut all business establishments on the day and ply no traffic on roads except ambulances.
Zargar also appealed people particularly the students of schools and colleges not to participate in any of the function organised with regard to Indian Independence day. “It doesn’t befit us to partake or share our presence with those whose hands are smeared with the blood of our people.”
Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar added that the lasting solution of Kashmir issue was possible only under the UN resolutions. He said the UN resolutions declare Kashmir as a disputed territory and justify Kashmiris freedom struggle.
Zargar also threatened that “informers will be killed” if they continued to inform on militants and stone throwers.
“Talks have fetched nothing, anyone who thinks that dialogue will resolve issues is making a mistake; we appeal Pakistan as well to avoid any talks with India,” Zargar said.
“We will continue with our armed struggle in Kashmir until the last Indian soldier remains here,” said Zargar.
Zargar also said that we will celebrate August 14and host Pakistani flags everywhere.
