Srinagar, April 9: Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) today recognized dedicated service across its cadres as Mr. Narinder Singh, Security Supervisor, was promoted to the post of Assistant Security Officer.
The promotion was marked by a felicitation ceremony conducted as per laid-down police protocol, where Mr. Singh was honoured with the Badge of Stars in recognition of his service in the security wing.
Director SKIMS, Prof. M. Ashraf Ganie, who presided over the function, reiterated the institution’s commitment to acknowledging and encouraging contributions at all levels, including frontline and support staff.
The ceremony was attended by Dean Medical Faculty SKIMS, Prof. Showkat Gurcoo; Additional Director SKIMS, Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Mir; Director Finance SKIMS, Dr. Manzoor Ahmed Wani; Medical Superintendent SKIMS, Prof. Farooq A. Jan; Medical Superintendent SCI, Prof. G. H. Yatoo; Security Officer SKIMS, Abdul Gani Kumar; Administrative Officers from Policy & Personnel, besides other senior officers and officials.
On the occasion, Mr. Narinder Singh expressed gratitude to the Director and the SKIMS administration for the recognition and continued support.
