Years come and go, months change, days fade, this is God’s system by which this universe runs. The real thing is when we change, our thoughts change. Otherwise, if the whole world changes and we do not change, it will not make any difference. We need to first take a look at the moments we have had in the past year. There are few occasions in the life of every human being in which he must remember his past. Like on your birthday, at the end of the year, on any happy occasion. This inculcates the habit of self-accountability in a person. There are few moments in a person’s life, when he himself establishes a court, is himself an accused, files a case against himself, cleans up his various aspects by himself. Present, be your own judge and incriminate yourself and sometimes acquit yourself. This court is where man examines his intentions, takes account of the past, focuses on the present and plans for the future. But if our circumstances are the opposite, we neither take account of ourselves nor worry about the future, then we will be counted as decaying in this world and in the hereafter as well. The nation that analyzes its situation, the people of the nation that have self-realization, self-accountability, keep themselves in order and organized, that is the success. As Iqbal said:
The nation is like a sword
He always calculates his actions
Repentance for the slips that happened to us in the last year and seeking forgiveness in every situation. Many wrong decisions may have been made by us which experiences we have learned from these mistakes by keeping them in mind so as not to repeat these mistakes in the future. Let us make it our intention to avoid those ways in our engagement that really displease our Allah. We will start the new year by considering the pleasure of Allah Almighty above everything. We should leave the sins that have caused us to live a long life of sins. Not only in the coming year, but in the whole life will live according to the decree of Allah Almighty. We will spend this life so to don’t disobey Allah Ta’ala, as the words of the hadith say: “It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) advised a person and said: ‘Five things with five things.’ Know the spoils first:
- Youth before old age.
- Health before sickness.
- Happiness before poverty.
- Leisure. Before preoccupation.
- Life before death.
If you look at these five things, most of us do not value them. If you want to strengthen. So the new year has not come so that we celebrate happiness, live a life of sins. No, but until now, if we have been careless and negligent, but nothing has happened yet, we are still learning.Let us learn from the past year and prepare a plan for the new year. Live this new year with a plan in mind. It should be our first goal to observe the prayers from the beginning in the new year. Reciting the Qur’an with meaning and description should become a daily routine of our life. For this we can read different interpretations. In which one can study “Tahfeem ul-Qur’an”, the most well-known and well-known commentary of this century. Along with this, we should also start studying biographical books of Prophets and Sahabas. Apart from this, one should also study those books that make a person’s personality successful . Among them, Ikigai, Eat That Frog, Atomic Habits, The Alchemist, Don’t Be Sad, Journey to Success on the Highway of Life, in addition, you can read books according to your hobbies. Every year we want to call the old sorrows and live a new life, start a new life. In life, each and every person faces problems in one way or another. Put your circumstances in front of Allah by trusting in Him. Let us pledge that this year we will not cause any kind of pain to any human being. We will apologize to those whose hearts we have shown. Will improve mutual relations, stay away from envy, malice, these diseases. Every year we should try to explore and visit new healthy tourist destinations. Understand the speed of this time and try to use this time wisely. We will play with words and obscenities themselves and guide our colleagues in our environment as well. Wherever we are, we will be an example with our morals, with our honesty. We have to answer these questions on the day of judgement.
Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The son of Adam will not be dismissed from his Lord on the Day of Resurrection until he is questioned about five matters: his life and how he lived it, his youth and how he expended it, his wealth and how he earned it and he spent it, and how he acted upon his knowledge.”.From this Hadith we have to take account of every deed to please Allah Subhana Watallah.
