A motorcyclist was killed after a speeding car hit him on Srinagar-Baramulla highway in this north Kashmir district last evening.

Reports said that Adil Ahmad Bhat (30), a resident of Auroora Narvaw, was critically injured in the mishap following which he was rushed to SKIMS Soura where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
When contacted, a police official said they have taken cognizance of the case. Further investigation is on, he added.
