Haryana, Aug 25 : National Conference president and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah Friday questioned the role of security forces while handling the law and order situation in parts of Haryana following the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh by a special CBI court in a rape case on Friday.

“Chilli bombs? Pepper grenades? Pellet guns? Do the forces keep those only for protesting Kashmiris?” Omar wrote on twitter while taking a dig on the law enforcing agencies.

While expressing surprise over the statement made by a senior security forces official about the situation in the affected areas, Omar tweeted: “Seems all the visuals of violence are just fake news.

These guys have everything under control. OB vans are self-inflicting damage!” the National Conference working president said.

In an apparent reference to Kashmir, a senior video journalist Nidhi Razdhan tweeted: “Where are the Pellet guns?” she questioned.
