An employee of Power Development died of electrocution in Magam town of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday, officials said.An official said that Farooq Ahmad Wani received electric shock while repairing transmission line and fell down from an electric pole.He said that Wani was immediately taken to sub-district hospital Magam where from he was referred to JVC Bemina. “He was pronounced dead at JVC hospital.”Police a taken cognizance of incident. The victim is a native of Hazarpora Aripanthan village and is survived by 5 daughters.
