Srinagar, July 02 : PDP state secretary and constituency incharge habba kadal Arif Laigaroo on Tuesday expressed his disappointment over the current development scenario of Habba Kadal.
Arif laigaroo today along with zone president Sameer ul jameel organising sectarary nauman Zargar aqib farooq tours to various areas of habba kadal localities, people complained about the lack of basic facilities. People are upset and angry for not being listened to.” Laigroo said
According to statement issued here, Laigaroo said I have been visiting Habba Kadal areas, falling in, Dalhasanyar, Shalla Kadal, Fateh kadal Karfali Mohalla Islam yaarbal and other areas, locals have been demanding, repairment of tiles in lanes, Bund parks at several places.
It’s unfortunate to see lanes without tiles, no street lights, no electricity.
I also met members of Masjid committee shameswari they raised the demand for compensation by the government for repair of masjid Shareif which was burnt last month due to short circuit and people of shameswari area are without water since many days people demand restoration of water supply immediately
Despite being the historical place of Srinagar and the hub of commercial activities, the entire constituency is being neglected on every front Nothing substantial is being done to upgrade and augment the infrastructure in the segment,” he said.
Laigroo urged LG Led administration to come forward to listen the issues of people, instead of being inside cozy rooms, Laigaroo added.
