Srinagar, Sept 21: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today underscored the centrality of peace to the Union Territory’s development, tourism, and sports culture.
Speaking on the importance of a stable environment, the CM remarked, “Peace is not my responsibility. Those who have a responsibility should fulfill their responsibility. For everything, we need peace. If the environment is not good, then who will come to play in the evening? Peace is the basis for development, tourism, sports, and overall progress.”
The Chief Minister stressed that the absence of peace not only hampers daily life but also stalls broader opportunities in investment, cultural exchange, and youth engagement. He reiterated that sustainable growth in the region is possible only when peace is prioritized and maintained | Kashmir Pen
