Although after a long time after 05 August 2019 some tourists are coming this year at Pahalgam, especially in ongoing winter time.
But the biggest problem is that the Public Health Engineering Department Kashmir Sub Division Pahalgam has made life miserable for the entire population of Pahalgam, especially for the hotel and tourism industry of Pahalgam “said Mushtaq Pahalgami in a statement issued .
He said there are many difficulties and the department is not in touch with masses and he also blamed that they’re not trying to make things better. He clarified that If there is a cold weather, there are difficulties which but on the other hand he blamed that the main reason is that this department sleeps soundly for the entire year and then they did nothing to make things like pipeline and reservoirs in better condition.
He alleged that Public Health Engineering Department Sub Division Pahalgam doesn’t fix the pipelines, reservoirs and filtration plants in summer and now the hardships of which the ordinary population face more in these difficult times.
He requested the governor administration especially tourism department, district administration Anantnag, PDA and SDM Pahalgam to intervene and to pay special attention towards this important issue and provide justice to the entire population of Pahalgam and tourism sector.
He hoped that concerned administration will take some serious note of this important issue and will take strict action under law against all those responsible who don’t try to fix the problems.
