In a separate action, Police Station Khanayar attached a double-storey residential house along with 12 marlas of land, valued at around Rs 2 crore, belonging to Owais Hussain Mir of Tangbagh. The property was identified during investigation in FIR No. 12/2024 under Sections 8/20 and 29 NDPS Act as alleged proceeds of drug trafficking and was attached after completion of legal formalities.

Police said the total value of the attached assets exceeds Rs 4 crore, marking a significant step in targeting the financial networks of drug trafficking in the district.

Srinagar Police stated that it remains committed to dismantling the economic infrastructure of narcotics networks by identifying and attaching properties acquired through illegal means. It also appealed to the public to continue supporting the anti-drug campaign by sharing credible information on drug-related activities.
