People staged a protest demonstration in Baramulla on Thursday against statement of Superintendent of Post Office Baramulla for shifting passport seva kendra to district Bandipora.

 Protest was organized by Baramulla Joint Coordination Committee (BJCC). The BCC an amalgam of Bar Association Baramulla, Beopar Mandal Baramulla, Working Journalist Association and Academic and Social Concerns forum and other non government organisations assembled in main chowk of the town.

Urging Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to personally intervene in the matter and ensure that the district Baramulla is not neglected in this regard.
