Srinagar, October 13, 2024: Basit Hayat Zargar, Youth President of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) in Jammu and Kashmir, has called upon Honorable Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha to extend greater support to the youth of the region. In an official statement, Zargar emphasized the need for government-backed programs aimed at empowering young people through skill development, entrepreneurship, and sports.

“The youth of Jammu and Kashmir possess immense potential, but many face barriers to accessing opportunities that would allow them to contribute meaningfully to society,” said Zargar. “It is crucial for the government to invest in initiatives that foster leadership, innovation, and self-reliance among our youth.”

Zargar highlighted the importance of enhancing sports infrastructure across the region and promoting entrepreneurial initiatives that would encourage the youth to pursue business ventures and self-employment. He also stressed the role of community engagement activities in guiding the younger generation toward positive societal contributions.

Recognizing the efforts of the LG administration, Zargar expressed optimism that with continued and expanded support, the youth of J&K could become catalysts for economic growth and social harmony. “The future of Jammu and Kashmir lies in the hands of its youth,” Zargar concluded.
