Srinagar, Apr 24 : Applicants for the posts of Process Server and Chowkidar in the District Court Anantnag have raised concerns over an inordinate delay in the recruitment process, saying no progress has been made nearly two years after applications were invited.

In a representation addressed to the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Anantnag, the applicants said that neither a shortlist has been published nor interviews conducted so far.

They said the prolonged delay has created uncertainty among candidates, especially as recruitment for similar posts in subordinate courts of other districts has already been completed.

“We respectfully draw attention to the delay, which has caused significant concern among applicants awaiting further steps in the process,” the representation reads.

The applicants have urged the authorities to expedite the recruitment process and issue an update at the earliest.

There was no immediate response from the concerned authorities on the matter.(KNS)
