In a press release Dr Mohd Hussan a Sr.Executive Member of Jammu & Kashmir People’s Movement has urged upon the Government to Regularise daily wagers, casual Labourers, consolidated employees, Rehbar e Khel Teachers, HDF & need based workers working in various departments on priority basis as per the promises and assurances given by the respective Government’s repeatedly including the present dispensation.
Most of the people in the above mentioned categories it may may be mentioned here are either at the verge of overage or have already crossed the upper age limit and as such deserve immediate consideration of the Government. He said most of these workers are facing starvation on account of non payment of wages for months together even during these hard times .
The dilly dally for their regularization time and again by the respective Government’s has ruined their future and have been pushed to the wall. Despite repeated betrayals the said workers perform their duties regularly. He further said that the irony of things is that they have become victims and sufferers of official apathy for years together now and nobady listens to them.
He said that JKPM will leave no stone unturned in raising the genuine demand of regularization of these workers working in various departments at all the forums and will make the administration realize their vows.
