Two civilians were killed after forces opened fire on protesters in Rangreth and Arwani area of Srinagar and Anantnag respectively.

The joint resistance leadership has called for complete shutdown tomorrow against the killings of two civilians in firing by government forces.

Two civilians were killed after forces opened fire on protesters in Rangreth and Arwani area of Srinagar and Anantnag respectively

Naseer Ahmad of Ashtengoo Bandipora was killed after SSB troopers opened fire to disperse protesters in Rangreth last evening.

Muhammad Ashraf was killed after forces opened fire on demonstrators near the site of a gun battle in Arwani village of Anantnag today.

During his address at Jamia Masjid in Downtown Srinagar, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said the joint resistance leadership has appealed for shutdown tomorrow to mourn the civilian killings.
