The executive Board of National Academy of letters Sahitya Academy New Delhi cleared the Advisory Board of Kashmiri language in its meeting held at New Delhi today.
On the recommendation of convener Dr Aziz Hajini a panel of nine noted writers of the language was accepted unanimously. The writers include prof.Iqbal Nazki, Bashir Baderwahi,Gowri Shankar Raina, prof.Shiek Aijaz, Syed Akhter Mansoor.
,Dr Shaista Ahmad, M.L.Pandita,Shabnam Tilgami and GC.member G N Aatish.
The Executive Board also elected Dr Aziz Hajini as it reprentative in Finance Committee. All the financial matters and policies of Sahitya Academy are dealt with and decided by a four member Finance Committee which include vice president, financial Advisor and two reprentatives fromExecutive Board and General council.
