Sameer Baktoo, Chairman of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Jammu & Kashmir Chapter, has welcomed the decision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Omer Abdullah, to host a Mega Travel Mart in the Union Territory, terming it a timely and impactful step for the tourism sector.
As announced, the two-day event will be held on April 14 and 15 and is expected to witness participation from around 250 stakeholders representing over 20 states across the country.
Baktoo stated that such an initiative will provide a strong platform for industry stakeholders to connect, collaborate, and explore new opportunities. He added that the event comes at a crucial time and has the potential to significantly strengthen tourism in Jammu & Kashmir.
He further emphasized that efforts like these will help boost confidence among travelers and promote the region as a preferred destination nationwide.
