Poem -22
Fighting Back
By Rafiya Syeed
In this Arundhati Roy’s fascistic world
I steal a moment of Wordsworth’s solitude,
to shield from the explosion of AI that is
like a Tharoor’s agathokakological figure.
Gibran’s truth has lost its temper,
wisdom doesn’t stay in the brain corner.
Fake news is the newfangled literature,
pen is lost in the pandemonium of reels.
To protect Shahid’s space of wilderness,
I walk down the Frost’s less travelled road,
that hides me in Carroll’s rabbit hole
to lit Maya’s light from within and rise.
