School Timings Revised Across Kashmir Division from April 1: DSEK

Srinagar schools to operate from 9 AM, other areas from 9:30 AM; strict compliance directed

Srinagar, Mar 30 : The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has revised the school timings for all Government and recognized private schools across the Kashmir Division, with the new schedule set to come into effect from April 1, 2026.

According to Order No. 119-DSEK of 2026 dated March 30, accessed by news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, schools within the Srinagar Municipal limits will function from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar district and in other areas of the Kashmir province will operate from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

The Directorate has directed all concerned institutions to strictly adhere to the revised timings without any deviation. (KNC)
