Restrictions will be imposed in parts of Srinagar city in the wake of shutdown call issued by the resistance leadership against the killings of two civilians in army firing in Shopian.

“Complete restrictions will be imposed within the territorial jurisdictions of Nowhatta, Rainawari, Khanyar, Safakadal and MR Gunj police stations and partial restrictions within those of Maisuma and Kralkhud,” said an official handout.
Earlier, Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) called for shutdown across Kashmir to protest the killings of two youth in army firing in Ganawpora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
