Funeral to be Held at 11 AM Saturday at Jamia Masjid Hyderpora

Srinagar, Aug 8 : A close family member of several prominent journalists passed away at SKIMS Soura on Friday evening.

Naseema Akhter, wife of Mir Ghulam Qadir was sister of Ghulam Hassan Kaloo (Editor, The Mirror of Kashmir), Dr Farooq Ahmad Kaloo, and Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo (Editor, Greater Kashmir), and the mother of Mir Aijaz Ahmad, Editor of Kashmir Canvas. She breathed her last at 7:45 p.m. after a prolonged illness.

Her funeral prayers (Nimaz-e-Jinaza) will be offered on Saturday, August 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Jamia Masjid Hyderpora.

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un.

expresses heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family and prays for eternal peace to the departed soul. May Almighty Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah and give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
