SSP conducts foot patrolling in Town Baramulla

SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS alongwith SP Hqrs Baramulla Ms. Divya D-IPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla Altaf Ahmad Khan & SHO Baramulla conducted an extensive foot patrolling and area domination exercise in Baramulla Old Town.    

A Police spokesperson said that the objective was to enhance the safety and security of the area and interact with the local community to strengthen police-public relations. The officers carried out a thorough security review of the present deployment to ensure an effective strategy for area domination.

“During the foot patrolling, the officers interacted with civilians and traders, understanding their concerns and addressing any issues related to security. The emphasis on police-public relations is crucial in fostering a sense of trust and cooperation between law enforcement and the community, leading to a safer and more secure environment for all”, he said.

The officers also reassured the residents of Baramulla Old Town that the police force is committed to maintaining law and order and safeguarding their interests. They urged the public to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
