Srinagar, 15 Jul: Summer vacation in Kashmir schools is unlikely to be extended, with schools scheduled to re-open on 18th July, a senior official said on Monday, dispelling rumors regarding an extension.

A senior government official told Daily Spark News that no decision has been made to extend the vacation.

“There is no expectation of an extension in vacations,” the official stated.

“Schools are set to re-open on 18th July,” the official added, urging the public not to believe the rumors.

It is pertinent to mention that the summer vacation in schools across Kashmir commenced on 8th July amid rising daytime temperatures.
