Suspicious Coded Ring on Pigeon Triggers Police Probe in Akhnoor

Jammu, Jan 10 (KNC) : A pigeon bearing a coded ring was found by a local boy in the Akhnoor area on Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC) that the boy immediately informed the police after noticing the coded ring on the bird.

Police reached the spot and took the pigeon into custody for examination.

They said that further investigation has been initiated to ascertain the origin and purpose of the coded ring. they added.—(KNC)
