Tamil Nadu NEET 2020 Counselling has started. Following the registration the Merit Lists are released. Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education, DME has released the Rank List for the TN NEET 2020 Counselling for 7.5%Government Quota admissions to various MBBS, BDS colleges in the state. TN NEET Merit List 2020 for the 7.5% Government Quota has been released on tnhealth.tn.gov.in. Candidates are informed that at present only the Rank List or Merit List for Tamil Nadu Government school students or Government Quota of 7.5% has been released. These would get preferential admissions in the various colleges. Call letters have also been released for counselling. As for the complete rank list for the remaining candidates, dates have not been shared as yet.
Counselling would begin from tomorrow – November 18, 2020 at Nehru Indoor Stadium – tweeted the TN Health Minister. Important instructions, schedule, TN NEET 2020 Merit List, link to download provisional call letter along with list of documents required are provided below.

TN NEET 2020 Counselling – List of documents required
- NEET UG 2020 Admit Card and Score card
- 10th Std Mark Sheet
- 11th Std Mark Sheet
- HSC/Equivalent Mark Sheet
- Bonafide Certificate from 6th to 12th Std Studied in Tamil Nadu Government School obtained from concerned CEO.
- Transfer certificate from the school last studied (or) Bonafide certificate should be produced from where the candidate is undergoing the course at present.
- Nativity Certificate.
- Community Certificate
- First Graduate Certificate (If Applicable)
- Income Certificate for the candidates claiming fee exemption.
- Parent’s study Certificate in Tamil Nadu (either father or mother)(Transfer Certificate, SSLC / 10th , 12th Mark Sheet /First Graduate Certificate / No Graduate Certificate
- Parent’s Community Certificate (either father or mother)
- Parent’s Document in Tamil Nadu such as Driving Licence/ Ration Card/ Passport/ Voter ID
TN NEET 2020 Counselling – Important Instructions
- Based on the merit list released, students can download their call letters for the counselling from the direct link provided above
- Based on the schedule, candidates are required to be present at the venue – Nehru Outdoor Stadium, Periamedu, Chennai (near Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Chennai Central Railway Station)
- Candidates are required to carry with them the list of documents as mentioned above along with a Deman Draft payable at Chennai for Rs. 500 drawn in favour of Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai – 10 as the processing fee
- Please note, candidates who fail to appear for the first phase of counselling would not be considered for the second or any subsequent phase of counselling.
