Officials told that the road was hit by mudslides and falling stones on Monday evening following a cloudburst near Langnal Bridge. The debris had rendered the stretch impassable, disrupting movement of vehicles.

Men and machinery were pressed into service and the road was cleared of the muck this afternoon, following which traffic was allowed, officials added
