NHW-44: Subject to fair weather and better road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. However, TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.
CUT OFF TIMING: LMVs from Zig (Qazigund) 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing.
HMVs/Load Carriers HMVs shall be allowed from Zig (Qazigund) towards Jammu. However fresh perishable carriers/oil tankers shall be allowed in the opposite direction subject to traffic situation on NHW.
SFs Convoy Movement: Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu.
NOTE:- On 01-01-2021 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.
MUGHAL ROAD: Mughal road is blocked due to snow accumulation.
SSG ROAD::Subject to fair weather and good road condition, only one way traffic from Srinagar towards Kargil shall be allowed on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road LMVs from Sonamarg followed by HMVs shall be allowed from 1100 hrs to 1400 hrs. No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.
May carry anti-skid chain to gain more grip on the slippery road.
Security Forces shall follow the same schedule
No vehicle shall be allowed from Gagangir towards Sonamarg between 1800 hrs to 0900 hrs due to slippery condition of the road.
