Tragic accident claims tourist’s life as she slips into Nallah at Butapathri, Gulmarg

A female tourist met a tragic end when she slipped into a nallah and recieved skull injuries in the famous tourist resort Gulmarg on Friday. 

A police official said that despite prompt rescue efforts and immediate medical attention, the unfortunate incident resulted in her untimely demise.

The victim, identified as Shalo Anand (46), was enjoying her vacation with her family when the unforeseen accident occurred.

According to local authorities, the incident took place in the picturesque area of Butapathri, Gulmarg. 

The victim’s husband, Sandeep Anand, and their family were present during the heart-wrenching mishap.

She was swiftly transported to a nearby health facility to receive critical medical attention but she was declared brought dead upon arrival.

A police official, who confirmed the incident, stated that the tourist had sustained severe head injuries upon slipping into the nallah.

Police said that they are investigating the incident and implementing necessary measures to prevent such accidents in the future.
