During the meeting, Wangnoo highlighted the need to address the challenges affecting students and society, and stressed the role of educational institutions in creating awareness and promoting responsible behaviour.

The discussion focused on possible collaboration between the Directorate and organisations such as NTTA, NLCO and BEI to launch student-led awareness campaigns, clean campus drives and early intervention programmes to curb substance abuse.

Wangnoo reiterated that environmental protection and youth welfare should remain priorities and assured support from his organisations for related initiatives.

Both sides agreed to work together on measures aimed at promoting a cleaner environment and addressing drug-related concerns among students, officials said.(KNS)
