YNC organizes blood donation camp on Sher-e-Kashmir’s 112th Birth Anniversary

Led by Salman Sagar, hundred youth body members donate blood at Naseem Bagh
Srinagar | Tuesday, 05 December 2017: Youth National Conference, Kashmir Province on Tuesday organized a blood donation camp at Qaid Mazaar at Naseem Bagh to commemorate the 112th Birth Anniversary of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. Led by YNC Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar, hundred youth body members and office bearers donated blood to be distributed among government hospitals in Srinagar. NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Mr. Omar Abdullah visited the camp and interacted with the volunteers and YNC members and said their spirit of service was inspiring and selfless.
Speaking on the occasion, YNC Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar paid glowing tributes to Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah and said the Blood Donation Camp was a mark of tribute and respect to the Party Founder who spent nearly three decades of his life in various jails while he fought for the rights and dignity of his people. “YNC decided to organized the Blood Donation Camp to salute the sacrifices rendered by Sher-e-Kashmir for our State and its people. It is heartening to see that a hundred pints of blood were donated by the Youth Wing and this blood will be given to the local hospitals and would go a long way in saving lives”, Salman Ali Sagar said.
The YNC Provincial President thanked NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Mr. Omar Abdullah for their support and encouragement to all YNC members and donors on this occasion and also thanked all those who came forward to donate blood for a noble cause. “I personally thank each and every donor for donating blood to commemorate a special day of the year and their contribution will help hundreds of patients in need”, the YNC Provincial President added.
Those who donated blood on the occasion included YNC Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar, Ahsan Pardesi, Jahangir Wani, Imran Nabi Dar, Danish Bhat, Mohammad Irfan Zehgeer, Abid Wani, Khalid Rathore, Javaid Rahim Bhat, Zubair Fayaz and Qazi Hanan from the YNC Provincial Committee as well as other YNC members and activists.
