As part of ongoing country wide celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,  JKAP 5th Bn PCR Srinagar in collaboration with GDC Eidgah Srinagar organized one day science workshop on the topic ‘Space and other technological achievements’ at GDC Eidgah Srinagar under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police.

On the occasion various noted academicians were present. The inaugural session of the programme was attended by Prof Dr. Yasmeen Ashai, Director Colleges as a chief guest on the occasion. Commandant JKAP 5th Bn PCR Srinagar, Shri Sheikh Junaid during his address emphasised the role of civic action programme-2021 in developing social values in youth, and the role played by J&K Police in organizing various programmes from time to time to imbibe a sense of responsibility and inquisitiveness among the youth.

During the valedictory session Deputy Commandant JKAP 5th Bn Shri Shabir Ahmad presented certificates to participating students from various schools and thanked the Principal and staff members of GDC Eidgah in making this event as success.
