Basit Hayat Zargar, Youth President of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and President of the WORLD NRI MINORITY FEDERATION J & K AND LEH LADAKH (WNRIMF) for Jammu & Kashmir and Leh-Ladakh, expresses his fierce condemnation and uncontrollable anger over the despicable, cowardly terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Baisaran, Pahalgam.

This heinous act of terror is not just an attack on unarmed civilians — it is an attack on the very humanity and soul of our land. Innocent people came to admire the peace and beauty of Kashmir, and were instead met with bullets and bloodshed. What kind of monster targets tourists? What kind of spineless evil seeks to destroy peace with violence?

Basit Hayat Zargar stated, “My heart is burning with anger. I am filled with grief for the victims and fury toward the cowards who did this. These terrorists think they can scare us, but they’ve only ignited a fire within us. A fire for justice. A fire for peace. A fire to wipe out this terrorism forever from our motherland.”

Zargar has demanded immediate and decisive action from the administration and security forces. He called upon both state and central governments to ensure those responsible are hunted down without mercy and brought to justice without delay.

“There is no room for terror in our land. No place for cowards who hide behind guns and shadows. The people of Jammu & Kashmir are sick of this bloodshed. We want peace, not pain. Unity, not chaos. And I promise — I will not stay silent. I will fight for every innocent life lost. These attackers will know — we are not afraid. We are furious.”

Basit Hayat Zargar also extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and urged the administration to provide all necessary support to those affected. He reaffirmed his commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with every citizen who desires a peaceful and terror-free Kashmir.
