ANC leadership calls for unity & communal harmony in J&K & across the country

Srinagar, Apr 13: Awami National Conference President Begum Khalida Shah & Senior Vice President Muzaffar Shah today extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Baisakhi, invoking the festival’s enduring spirit of hope, harvest and human solidarity.

In a message released on the occasion, the leaders spoke of Baisakhi not merely as a seasonal celebration, but as a living testament to the region’s pluralistic soul. They termed it a festival that transcends boundaries of faith and community to affirm a shared cultural inheritance while describing it as a moment that renews the age-old bonds of togetherness that have long defined the valley’s composite identity.

Extending special felicitations to the Sikh community, the ANC leadership expressed heartfelt wishes for a season filled with peace, prosperity, and joy, one that touches every household, regardless of creed or background.
