Jammu, Dec 11: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today chaired a high-level review meeting on CAPEX expenditure, taking a detailed assessment of ongoing developmental works across departments.

The Chief Minister stressed the importance of timely execution, directing all departments to expedite project implementation to ensure full and effective utilisation of funds within the stipulated timeframe.

Omar Abdullah underscored that people must witness tangible improvements on the ground, adding that development gains are meaningful only when they reach the public without delay.

He further emphasised regular monitoring, prompt resolution of bottlenecks, and coordinated inter-departmental efforts to keep all projects on track.
