Budgam, June 24 : While extending his heartfelt Eid Greetings to the Muslim Ummah, senior separatist leader and president Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi has said that it will be the real Eid for the people of Kashmir when Kashmir will be freed from the clutches of Indian rule.
He said that the Eid is although a day of happiness and blessings but the Kashmiri nation had so far missed the real spirit of this day because of the atrocities and the cruel behavior of the Indian occupational forces against the common people and the people of this troubled region are miserably suffering since last seven decades.
While appealing people to remember the destitute section of the society on the Eid, Aga Syed Hasan said that the month of fasting has been termed as the month of mercy and sympathy and it highlights the miseries and sufferings of those people who have no meals to eat and no clothes to wear. We should not forget the families, orphans and widows of those people who have sacrificed their precious lives for the better future of their nation. We have to be extremely kind to the families who had miserably suffered during the ongoing freedom struggle of Kashmir.
While appealing the people to celebrate the Eid with austerity and simplicity, Aga Hasan said that Islam teaches its followers a civilized and respectful life and commands to adopt a humble way of living.
Paying tributes to the pro-freedom leaders and freedom-loving people of Kashmir, who have been held in various jails and detention centres in Jammu Kashmir and outside for their resolve and steadfastness toward the resistance movement, he prayed for their good health.
