JAMMU: (May 13) Police have launched a massive crackdown on the cultivation of cannabis and destroyed the crop grown in over 53 kanals of land in Doda and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.

Doda Police carried out a series of anti-drug operations across different parts of the district and destroyed wild cannabis cultivation spread over nearly 36 kanals of land, they said.
A major destruction drive was conducted in the Nagri, Tondwah and Ghat areas, where wild cannabis cultivation spread over approximately 15 kanals of land was destroyed, they added. ( PTI )
