J&K Police Mountain Rescue Team Holds High-Altitude Drills at Mahagunas Top Ahead of SANJY 2026

Srinagar, June 27 : The Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) of Jammu & Kashmir Police conducted intensive high-altitude training and operational drills at Mahagunas Top as part of preparations for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 (SANJY-2026), Kashmir Zone Police said on X.

The exercises focused on mountain rescue, casualty evacuation, and emergency response.

Police said the drills were aimed at reinforcing their commitment to ensuring a safe and secure Yatra for all pilgrims.(GNS)
